In this series we'll look at several aspects of creating a 6-7 song EP. We'll cover tracking acoustic guitars, electric guitar, bass, and vocals with modest equipment, and then fill out the rest of the tracks with virtual instruments. I'll work with a drummer to program drums and then working with different members to fill out the rest of the instrumentation and vocals.
In this second video we'll look at recording electric guitars for two of the tracks. We'll check out how to set up recording direct with effects to create some very cool guitar tones.
